I wanted to use the oasis albums as a style inspiration for the editorial portraits.

Liam Gallagher has a very distinctive look and personality. although I myself am not a fan of his work and I do find him arrogant I wanted to show my personal feelings towards him by using his famous characteristics I turned him into a puppet because I wanted to poke fun at his behaviour.

outcomes and development

my first attempt was more of a copy from an image of Liam Gallagher and the final image wasn't really what I was planning on going for in the end.

my second attempt was I wanted to poke more fun at Liam Gallagher by making him into a humanoid muppet which is what he is. however in this image he is very neutral and has a very still stance. but the face and head is what I'm going for.

For my final attempt I wanted to capture the iconic stance with the super high microphone with the famous tambourine.

week 2: Stevie Nicks

I wanted to use stevies facial features in my portrait. I wanted to enhance her eyes and give it the colour of the time.

During my first two attempts i tried the traditional method but i wasn't happy with the way they turned out so i moved on to digital portraits and i found the process to me more editorial in the way i wanted to present the work

week 3: Stalin

i was looking at Stalin caricature for reaserch and insperation for this part of the project. as i didn't want to celebrate him or do him justice so my work is more of criticizing stalin.

for my second attempt i wanted to make him into a robot or the terminator to criticize his works and what he did and to really emphasize that he was an evil man
